So I'm writing this as a PSA to save anyone the confusion which happened to me after many visits to this fine establishment....the word "Entree" evidently does not mean the same as "item"....I ordered the 2 "item" plate with fried rice. I was surprised to see a smaller container being used , but according to the the woman helping me I wanted the 2 "entree" NOT the 2 "ITEM". Kind of weird to me as I've been accustomed to ordering the "2 item (usually double bbq pork) which is spectacular, and not having a problem in the past was very much thrown for a loop. So....just to let you know, if you want 2 selections along with rice or noodles...the CORRECT terminology is...."ENTREE". Yessah blessah and have a wonderful day....Aloha

Mediocre, over-hyped, over-rated Chinese food but inexpensive and plenty of parking. The sweet and sour pork and broccoli beef tasted a little better than the chow mein. The chow mein was bland, greasy and smelly. The BBQ pork was stinky also.
I'd rather go to Happy Wok in Rodeo. -

Ok, I work very close to here and have been 3 times.
Here are my issues/opinions/likes-dislikes:
1) fried rice is made with old bits of pork. Each time, the pork has been a slight tinge of green. It tastes very old..and I think the rice tastes that way because they use the fat from the leftover pork to "flavor" the cooking/frying oil. Really disappointing.
2) Chow mein is the same way. Tastes so old, I do not know how anyone can eat it. The smell was off, too. :/
3) Pot stickers were your standard thick skinned ps. The meat in these were good, but they do not have the vinegar/oil packet. They gave me white vinegar in a cup and a little cup of burnt pepper. :( If you like your pot stickers plain or with soy sauce only, then you'll like these.
4) Chicken (general, ginger, etc) - very odd texture. Tasted tough! Also old... :( I feel so bad for writing this, but it is so obvious they're using old meats and 'velveting' them. Darn shame because they have potential..
The chicken had a strange dry texture to it. When I bit in to a piece, it was kinda flaky, like dried fish. The taste was 'off' and you could tell it was OLD.. :/
5) white rice is good
6) short ribs were good...tender, and the flavor was not "off".. but there was a LOT of fat on the pieces, and each piece only had about 25% meat on them...
Overall, I will not be back. I've given them a LOT of chances.. sorry. -

I've been here 3 times now and each time I was always amazed by the generous portion and low prices.
Their wonton soup was surprisingly really good and perfectly seasoned and the best item from the buffet table is definitely the chicken wings with garlic sauce. Soo good! Reminiscent of San tung chicken wings from SF, imo. I also really like their fried rice, it is loaded with lots of small pieces of chasiu (bbq pork) and it has good flavor. The only thing though, they do load their food with msg and I usually felt it after I ate..so it's ok once a while, but not too often.
It's always packed with locals and the repeat customers. -

Look this ain't gonna be a place of choice for many. But if you don't feel like cooking or waiting for ur order at a typical restaurant, when this might be a place to check. It's like Panda Express without the fanfare.
You choose your food from a pre-made items. Really nothing to it. I always pick the most recent ones they put out. And ur not eating just for the stake of getting full, but the food has good flavor. It's a lazy persons guilty pleasures.
